<p>On June 1, 2026, Boyi Fu graduated from Macau University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. He was deeply honored to receive the University’s Honor Cord, a distinction awarded to only four graduates across the Faculty of Innovation Engineering (FIE). This recognition marked a meaningful conclusion to his undergraduate journey and reflected the generous support he received from his supervisor, friends, classmates, and family.<br />

<p>Our latest work <i><strong>Phase-field computation for 3D shell reconstruction with an energy-stable and uniquely solvable BDF2 method</strong></i> has been published to Comput. Math. Appl. recently. <br />

<p>The algorithm uses a linearized backward differentiation formula (BDF2) for time advancement and adopts the finite difference method to perform spatial discretization, unconditional energy stability and second order time accuracy can be achieved. The present method is not only suitable for 3D reconstruction of unordered data but also has the effect of adaptive denoising and surface smoothing. In addition, theoretical derivation proves the fully discrete energy stability.<br />

<p>Our latest work <i><strong>Two lower boundedness-preservity auxiliary variable methods for a phase-field model of 3D narrow volume reconstruction</strong></i> has been published to CNSNS recently. <br />

<p>By employing scattered point data, our approach reconstructs smooth narrow volumes using a phase-field Allen–Cahn model with a control function. The proposed method ensures energy dissipation and smooth surface throughout the reconstruction process. By introducing an auxiliary variable, the nonlinear term in the governing equation is reformulated, allowing for efficient time-marching schemes. The fully discrete scheme is linear, and its unconditional stability is rigorously estimated.<br />
